### Overview

This page explains the two ways the report tracks revenue: funds you have actually received and revenue from bookings that have been used. It shows these figures month by month, includes year-over-year growth, and gives a near-term pacing view. Use this page when you need more detail than the Headline Summary, such as monthly breakdowns, clear growth percentages, and a look at how the next 7 days compare to last year.

### Payments

This section displays your [payments](/glossary/calculations/overvue-calculations.md#payments) so far this season, the amount received at this point last season, your year-over-year growth in payments, and your payments received for all of last season. Start by checking the growth figure for a quick sense of your progress. Then, use the year-to-date and prior-year numbers to see the actual dollar amounts, and the full prior-year total to understand how far into a typical season your current total represents.

### Payments by Month

This chart shows your [payments](/glossary/calculations/overvue-calculations.md#payments) by month, separated by season. You can compare the bar heights across months to see which ones bring in the most cash. This helps you spot seasonal patterns in cash flow and plan for months with the heaviest collections.

### Payments by Month and Season

This table shows your [payments](/glossary/calculations/overvue-calculations.md#payments) in a grid, with each row representing a season and each column representing a month. You can also drill down to week or day-level details. Use this table when you need exact numbers instead of a visual comparison.

### Booked Revenue

This section displays your [booked revenue](/glossary/calculations/overvue-calculations.md#booked-revenue) so far this season, the amount booked at this point last season, your year-over-year growth in booked revenue, and your total booked revenue for all of last season. Booked revenue shows business that has actually been used, not just paid for. Comparing these numbers with the payments above helps you see the difference between what has been used and what has been collected in cash so far.

### Booked Revenue by Month

This chart shows your [booked revenue](/glossary/calculations/overvue-calculations.md#booked-revenue) for each month, separated by season. It is the usage-revenue counterpart to the payments-by-month chart above. Comparing these two charts side by side helps you see where funds received and booked revenue differ each month. For example, you might notice a month with many bookings that have not yet converted to cash, or the opposite.

### Booked Revenue by Month and Season

This table shows your [booked revenue](/glossary/calculations/overvue-calculations.md#booked-revenue) in a grid by season and month, with options to drill down to week or day-level details. It is the usage-revenue counterpart to the payments-by-month-and-season table above. Use this table when you need exact monthly booked revenue figures for reporting or reconciliation instead of a visual comparison.

### Next 7 Days Pace

This table shows your [booked revenue](/glossary/calculations/overvue-calculations.md#booked-revenue) for each of the next 7 days, alongside last year's booked revenue at the same point in its booking cycle. This means it compares how much business was booked by the same stage in last year's timeline, not just the same calendar date. This view helps you see if your near-term booking pace is ahead of or behind last year, which is useful for staffing and inventory decisions.
