# Holidays

### Overview

This page shows how revenue changes around calendar events, including national holidays like the Fourth of July and Labor Day, as well as your own promotional events. For each event, you’ll see a chart and a matching table, so you can spot patterns visually and then check the exact numbers right next to them.

### National Holidays

Each group of bars represents one national holiday, with side-by-side bars showing that holiday’s revenue for each season. This lets you compare, for example, this year’s July 4th revenue to last year’s. The table below gives you the same breakdown with exact numbers, and you can expand each holiday to see its season-by-season details. This is helpful when you need a precise figure for a report, a budget note, or a comparison with a specific previous season. Marketing or operations planners can use this view to see which national holidays boost revenue at your site and by how much, helping with staffing and promotional planning for future events.

### Site Holidays

This view works the same way as the national holidays section, but focuses on events you organize, such as a festival or in-house promotion, instead of public holidays. The table lets you expand each event to see its season-by-season breakdown, just like with national holidays. This helps you see whether your events increase revenue and lets you evaluate each event with exact numbers instead of estimates from the chart.
