# Attendance

### Overview

This is the main attendance overview page. It shows both attendee headcount and ticket volume, broken down year-to-date, by month, and by season. Use this page to quickly see how many people attended and how many tickets were sold this year compared to previous years, both as running totals and month by month.

### Attendance Year to Date

This section shows your attendee count for the year so far, last year's attendee count on this same day, your attendee count at this same point last year, and the year-over-year attendance growth. This gives you a quick look at how attendance compares to last year. Note that the year-to-date total here uses a slightly different 12-month window than other figures on this page, so the numbers may not always match exactly. The same-point-last-year comparison is not currently reliable, so use caution with that figure and the growth percentage until they are verified.

### Attendance Trend (Year to Date)

This chart shows your running year-to-date attendee total by month, with a separate line for each season. Like the year-to-date card above, it uses the same slightly different 12-month window. This lets you compare this year's trend to previous years for each month and see when attendance started to increase or decrease compared to a prior season. It helps you spot changes during the year, not just at the end.

### Attendance by Month and Season

This chart displays monthly attendee counts, with one column per season shown side by side for each month. For example, you can compare this June's attendance to last June and the year before. This makes it easy to spot seasonal patterns, see which months are usually strongest, and check if this year's monthly trends match or differ from previous years.

### Attendance by Month and Season (Table)

This table shows the same monthly attendee counts as the chart above, but in a grid format. Each month-and-season combination is listed as an exact number instead of a bar, so you can easily find the precise attendee count for any month and season. This is helpful if you need to match numbers with another system or do further calculations.

### Tickets Year to Date

This section shows your ticket count for the year so far, your ticket count for the same period last year, last year's total ticket count, and the year-over-year ticket growth. This gives you a running total of ticket sales and two benchmarks from last year: the same point in the year and the full year. You can see if you are selling more or fewer tickets than this time last year, both as a percentage and as raw numbers, and check if this year is on track to beat last year's total. Note that this section repeats the same mislabeled comparison card as in the Attendance section, so use the ticket count for the same period last year instead.

### Ticket Sales by Month and Season

This chart displays monthly ticket counts, with one column per season shown side by side for each month. It is the ticket-volume version of the attendance-by-month chart above. Use it to spot seasonal patterns in ticket sales and compare this year's monthly trends to previous seasons.

### Ticket Sales Trend (Year to Date)

This chart shows your running year-to-date ticket count across the year, with a separate line for each season. It is the ticket-volume version of the attendance trend chart above and uses the same slightly different 12-month window as mentioned earlier. This lets you see when ticket sales started to increase or decrease compared to a previous season.

### Ticket Sales by Month and Season (Table)

This table shows the same monthly ticket counts as the chart above, organized in a grid by month and season. Use it like the attendance table above to find the exact ticket count for a specific month and season, instead of estimating from a bar.
