### Calculation conventions

<details>

<summary>Year-over-year and last-year comparisons</summary>

Measures labelled `LY`, `previous year`, or `YoY` usually shift the date range back 364 days. This matches the same weekday from 52 weeks earlier. It does not match the same calendar date and can drift during leap years.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Year-to-date measures</summary>

Standard year-to-date measures start on January 1 and end on the latest date in view. Measures labelled `(Cards)` use the selected season's full date range when a season is filtered. Without a season, they use January 1 through today. On the first day of a month, they use yesterday.

</details>

<details>

<summary>To-date measures</summary>

Measures labelled `To Date` are cumulative through the latest date in view. They can ignore the start of a selected date range. Check the individual metric for its exact filter behavior.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Flags and limitations</summary>

Some entries identify incomplete data, known calculation issues, or measures intended only for internal use. Treat those notes as part of the metric definition.
